Researchers on Mayo Clinic’s Florida campushave been awarded a $13.3 million, five-year federal grant to test a vaccine designed to prevent the recurrence of triple-negative breast cancer, a subset of breast cancer for which no there are no targeted therapies.
The clinical trial, which will enroll 280 patients at multiple clinical sites, is expected to begin early in 2016. Read More »

On August 11, with humble heart I met a beautiful woman participating in Brushed Bold 2015 —benefiting 26.2 with DONNA and The Donna Foundation. Brushed Bold is a painting and photography exhibit featuring 14 breast cancer Survivors transformed into live canvases for a beautifully bold showcase. Unlike my previous figure drawing work, the objective with Brushed Bold presents body as canvas. Intimidating? Yes.
